What is PCI Compliance?

Simply put, PCI Compliance is created by The Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) to create a high, global standard for companies that take and process consumer credit card information.

According to their website:

"The PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) is a global forum that brings together payments industry stakeholders to develop and drive adoption of data security standards and resources for safe payments worldwide."

Shoppable partners with PCI SSC-approved security vendors and conducts annual third-party security audits to ensure continued compliance. If you are using Shoppable's DTC Lite, Shoppable Ad Experience, or Instant Shop, your business will not need to be PCI Compliant because you will not need to process or touch any credit card credentials. Shoppable can provide its attestation of compliance to customers upon request.
